2022 Q3.1 Minor Release Notes

The 2022Q3.1 Minor release makes improvements to the verification process and the quality of the results. Please remember to update the reference data. The improvements are tied to the data in the Global Knowledge Repository and the Local API.

When updating the data, it is recommended to use a new data folder each time in order to ensure the latest dataset is installed properly.  

If you need any assistance with the upgrade of the Local API or the data update process, please contact GBG Loqate Support. The md5checksum can be used to help ensure the data packs have been fully downloaded.

Local API Notices

There was one minor change to the API engine to fix a bug in lqtdemo plus we have modified the CASS and CASS2 process, details of both minor changes are available in the API release notes below.

Data Notices

The major highlights for this release are as follows;-

Japan – Country data refresh after a prolonged period has seen a 4% increase in our point level (L4) coverage and we now have Building and Company postcodes.

Spain – after the release of L5 sub-building data in Q3.0 we have now updated the sub-building field. The field format now is constructed from the combination of SubBuildingBlock + SubBuildingStaircase + SubBuildingFloor + SubBuildingDoor.

The following countries have all been refreshed in this release – Austria, Belarus, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Poland & Switzerland. We have also amended the address output format on South Korea. Please see the Data Release notes below for full details on all of these udpates.
